Surgical Procedure
for Reversal of
Tubal Sterilization Operations

BabiesAgain.com is the new site for tubal reversal in Memphis,
Tennessee
Tubal Reversal by
Dr. Dan Martin
of UT medical Group, Inc. in Memphis and Germantown, Tennessee
 |
The procedure uses a incision of 2 to 4 inches
depending on your weight. |
 |
The incision is commonly at the hair line.
|
 |
A Zeiss operating microscope is used to place microscopic stitches.
|
 |
No stints are used. |
 |
A specially
modified retractor is used to decrease the size
of the incision and prevent pressure on deep nerves. |
 |
At the end of surgery on the tubes, blue dye is placed
through a catheter in the uterus so it will flow through the tubes and be seen in
surgery to confirm that the tubes are open. This picture is taken with a Zeiss OpMi Vario S88
operating microscope. |
